Working with the Content Management System (CMS)

Content Types

Content Types are the basis of what type of content each page of your site will contain. The content type you select will determine which of the different screen layouts for each type will be displayed when you decide to finally start managing the content on the pages you've created.

There are five main content types that you will find useful most often. They are:

General Content Page
Event Calendar
Document Download
Email Form Mailer
Menu Spacer

You will find that there are a handful more of content types in the drop-down menu, but they will rarely get used. If you would like more information about one of the less common content types, please contact Tim Barrons at 231.946.2983 x202 to discuss it further.
