Content Managed Websites - National Cherry Festival National Cherry Festival

The National Cherry Festival staff needed the ability to manage their own website content. For 2010 we integrated the new Byte CMS package into their site. The Cherry Festival administrators now use the CMS tools to edit their site content on a daily basis. They even took advantage of our "NEW" CMS built-in photo gallery. The beauty of using the Byte content management tools is that, like with the Cherry Festival site, we can retain the same site design so you can't tell the difference when you visit your new site, and it is very simple to use.

The Cherry Festival site averages upward of 2,000 site visitors a day during the summer. That number built up to 17,500 during the 2010 Festival in July!

Mandy DePuy, the Administrative Manager for the Festival, had this to say about working with our CMS during their busy season,

"The National Cherry Festival started utilizing Byte's CMS tool earlier this year in 2010. Prior to using CMS we used Adobe Contribute. I feel the CMS tool is way more effective and efficient when making changes to our site. This enables us to make quick changes to our schedule, event pages and Festival information for our Festival-goers and fans. The system is easy to learn and navigate, as well as make new page content. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone looking at managing their own website content".
